“That’s it. And the plan is if you imagine when your lips are together your mouth can’t open obviously. So that means it’s going to make you more aligned with keeping your tongue to the roof of your mouth and to stop you from snoring.”

He added: “Because if your tongue is on the roof of your mouth and your mouth’s not open, there’s less chance of your tongue falling into your airway making you snore at night.”

The podcast star was inundated with comments where people had shared they tried the tape trick and found it work. @sven.whittle said: “Well after seeing this post, I tried it last night. It works!

“I usually snor like a chainsaw, last night my husband said I never made a sounds. I’m thrilled as I have tried everything except surgery.”

And @amandaduncan.nutrition added: “Taping has absolutely transformed how well I sleep.” And @naturopath_and_health_stylist said: “I use it almost every night as I tend to mouth breath at night. Makes a huge difference to how rested I feel in the morning.”
