Toi Thornton Departs NBC Connecticut After A Year

Toi Thornton has signed off from NBC Connecticut.

Thornton was the weekend morning anchor at the NBC owned Hartford station.

“LIFE UPDATE: This week is my final week at NBC Connecticut. Thank you to all of the people of Connecticut for allowing me into your homes every Saturday and Sunday morning! And to tell you stories from the field during the week,” he wrote on Facebook. “It’s been an honor to serve this community. Tune-in to my final newscast Sunday morning at 9a EST! I’ll say what’s next at the proper time.”

Thornton joined the station in 2023 from WBRC in Birmingham, Alabama.
